EMPOWERING NORTH DAKOTA THROUGH SKATEBOARDING

The North Dakota Skateboarding Association (NDSA) is a nonprofit based in Fargo, ND, using skateboarding to teach life skills, confidence, and community to kids and teens across the region.

MISSION & HISTORY

Our mission is to generate opportunities that increase skateboarding participation amongst youth, and help the community better understand the physical, mental, and social benefits of the sport.

The NDSA is open to all demographics and economic statuses, with a focus on providing a place in the skateboarding community for at-risk youth. We have been pursuing this mission since 2011 when we founded a private indoor skatepark with public events and skate sessions. The skatepark had to, unfortunately, close in 2025, but we have big plans to open a fully public indoor skatepark in the near future. With your help, we can make it happen.

Currently, there is no public indoor skatepark within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, and none in the state of North Dakota. When our space was open, we frequently had skaters traveling hundreds of miles to skateboard for a few short hours during the winter months.

While we continue to fundraise and look for a new space, we will be holding meetups around the Fargo-Moorhead area and pop-up events throughout the year. Keep an eye on our Events page and sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date!
